Operated by Quartz Events
Last updated: 9 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dermatology Master Conference ("DMC") website, mobile application, and related registration, on-site, and event services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Quartz Events ("Quartz Events", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, registering for the conference, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Creating an account requires you to actively agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
The Platform is intended for medical and healthcare professionals and other conference attendees who are at least 18 years old. By using the Platform you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it up to date. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You may not share your account, entry pass, or QR code with others; entry passes are personal and non-transferable.
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
Registration for the conference and its waves and workshops is subject to availability and any applicable eligibility or approval requirements. Where paid packages are offered, fees, payment terms, and any cancellation or refund policy will be presented at the point of registration and form part of these Terms. We may open, close, or manage waves and registration at our discretion.
The Platform offers rewards features, including points, badges, tiers, gifts, and sponsor prize draws (the "Wheel of Names"). By participating you agree that:
DMC is a sponsored medical conference. When you scan a sponsor's booth QR code, you may choose to share your details with that sponsor. By choosing to share, you consent to Quartz Events providing your relevant personal and professional data to that sponsor, as described in the Privacy Policy. Sharing is optional and does not affect the rewards you earn. Sponsors are independent third parties responsible for their own use of any data you share with them.
By using the Platform and as further described in the Privacy Policy, you agree that Quartz Events may contact you with marketing and promotional communications about DMC and its events, sponsors, and offers, unless and until you opt out. You can opt out of marketing at any time through your notification preferences or the unsubscribe options provided.
You retain ownership of content you submit, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use that content as necessary to operate the Platform. You are solely responsible for your content and conduct. We may remove content or restrict features that violate these Terms or that we consider harmful, without notice.
The Platform, its design, the DMC and Quartz Events names and logos, and all related Content (excluding user content and third-party marks) are owned by or licensed to Quartz Events and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
Quartz Events reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to suspend, disable, restrict, ban, or permanently close any account, and to refuse, cancel, or revoke access to the Platform or to the conference — with or without notice — where we believe, in good faith, that an attendee has breached these Terms, provided false information, abused the rewards or booth features, engaged in unlawful or harmful conduct, or where required for security, legal, or operational reasons. Where reasonable and lawful, we will aim to notify you. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund except as required by law or any applicable refund policy, and does not limit any other rights or remedies available to us. You may also request closure of your own account by contacting us.
The Platform and conference Content are provided for professional and educational purposes and do not constitute medical advice or a substitute for professional clinical judgement. Any certificates, CME credits, or attendance records are issued subject to the applicable conditions and accrediting bodies. The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quartz Events and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quartz Events from any claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform with a revised "Last updated" date, and, where required, we will notify you. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any dispute arising from or relating to them or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights.
